1. He starts his day with critical work. “Focus on signal vs. noise”. MIT – Most important task first. (think Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
2. Use feedback loops (get advice on what you are doing wrong). THINK about what you’ve done wrong and what you could do better.
3. Reason from “first principles” – you really need Physics to do this-look at the fundamentals.
4. Use Asynchronous communication (text/email). Communicate on your own terms. Turn off notifications, decline meetings, minimize distraction.
5. Master communication. Musk says “email is my core competency.”
6. Batch Tasks- Combine tasks together “emails while texting, playing with kids while on email”
7. Intense Scheduling.
